Announcing the 2024 Fall Service Project Winners

The Council of Students was pleased to host the annual 2024 Fall Service Project, which originally began in 2019. Chapters are encouraged to focus on a community need and establish a partnership with a community organization. The Council also recommends inviting student organizations or campus departments to participate in the service project. The project was required to take place for any length of time between September and December. This year, the Fall Service Project winners were awarded on three levels: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

Drumroll. The winning chapters are:

Gold

  • Florida Institute of Technology – Children’s Hunger Project Fundraiser
  • Meredith College – Bake Sale for Hurricane Helene Relief
  • Texas A+M University – Food for Thought
  • University of Tampa – Elementary STEM Night
  • Youngstown State University – Therapy Dogs for the Holidays

Silver

  • Austin Peay State University – GHOST/Candy for the Mind
  • Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Girls in STEM
  • Mississippi State University – Bully’s Pantry Donation Drive
  • University of Mississippi – Grove Grocery Food Drive

Bronze

  • Frostburg State University – Computer Literacy for Senior Citizens
  • Kean University – Cougar Dress for Success Donation Drive
  • Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico – Solidarity Sports Clinic
  • St. Mary’s College of California – SMC Fall Book Drive and Halloween Party
  • University of South Alabama – Ghouls for Goods
